Musings from a common teenager.
My day in a nutshell:
After a long day of Best Buy with nerdy Jonathan and Dad groaning about the price and Mom’s stomach churning, we came home with nothing but melted candy from World Market and seventy dollars worth of groceries.
I just wanted that overwhelming exuberance one gets when they walk out of Best Buy and the doors open for them, where you walk with a great strut and a stunning smile, knowing that you’ve got the best thing in the store and you want everyone to know and be jealous. Doves fly from behind you, everything is in slow motion, and music filters into the scene making it the BEST MOMENT OF YOUR LIFE.
What does a girl have to give to get that feeling?
